WhatsApp Down: Instant messaging app WhatsApp is down since 12.30 pm today as users are not able to send messages to group chats and only one tick was showing to messages sent to individuals. In recent years WhatsApp has faced increased competition from rival apps such as Telegram and Signal. The profitability of WhatsApp is thought to be considerably less than that of the other Facebook-owned sites, but engineers will have worked desperately to bring the service back online.
